New Munich Trade Fair Centre
The New Munich Trade Fair Centre is a state-of-the-art exhibition centre. The exhibition grounds offer the best conditions for the success of your events. With 16 ultra-modern and column-free exhibition halls, 180,000 m² of exhibition space and 360,000 m² of outdoor space, we are also well prepared for major events. In 2006, Messe München was transformed into the media centre of the FIFA World Cup and hosted the church service during the Pope’s visit.
Messe Munich International is served by two underground stations, Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost on the underground line U2. There is also a shuttle bus which goes directly from the airport to the trade fair grounds during the show which departs every half an hour. Taxis are available from the airport to the trade fair grounds and vice versa. Visitor Tickets & Entering the Fair
All visitor tickets can either be purchased online on the respective trade fair website under the ‘visitors’ section, or can be purchased at the trade fair ground on arrival. We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance online to benefit from discounted prices. Once you have ordered your ticket online, it will be sent to you by email. All you need to do is to print out your ticket and take it with you to the fair – simply scan the bar code on your ticket to access the fair! Please note that for INHORGENTA Munich you are required to pre-register before purchasing your ticket.
If you are visiting or exhibiting at one of the Munich trade fairs, please be aware that your ticket NO LONGER includes free use of public transport. You must have a validated ticket with you when travelling on the public transport. Tickets for the underground (U-Bahn) or overground trains (S-Bahn) can be purchased from Munich airport at the ticket machines or from the ticket desk. To book train tickets in advance or to check prices, please go to the link below to the MVV website. It is also worth noting that Munich airport is in the outer ring (Aussenraum) of the city and therefore requires an additional ticket to one that allows you to travel around the city centre (Innenraum).
